THE GRIEVING PROCESS's Brush With Death
October 3, 2007New Jersey-based death metallers THE GRIEVING PROCESS had a brush with death last night when fire engulfed the hotel they were resting in after playing with SUICIDE SILENCE as part of their U.S. tour. The band's first tour across the U.S. was nearly their last. Drummer Senen said, "Half the guys are passed out drunk in one bed and I'm taking a crap and Jon comes running in the room yelling 'Get the fuck out! The hotel's on fire!!'"
Thankfully no-one was injured and the tour continues unabated. Catch them on October 4 at Ye Olde Town Inn in Mount Prospect, IL with UNMERCIFUL, then on the following dates:
Oct. 09 - Union Station, Colorado Springs, CO
Oct. 12 - The Railhead Saloon, Lawton, OK

Oct. 21 - Bulldog Cafe, Louisville, KY
Oct. 23 - The Zanzabar, Lynchburg, VA
Oct. 26 - Welfare Records, Haverhill, MA
